These handy little cards were gifted to us by Think Tank Scholar. They are a great learning resource for Oscar as he is learning to read at the moment. The packet comes with 6 types of game instructions which are all great and unique ways to learn. We chose the word matching game where you choose a card and you have to find the word on the card in the book. Oscar was really good at matching the words as he is good at recognising the letters, this also allowed me to do some letter work with him as we talked about the letters that were in the words and their sounds. The other game we played was a silly sentence game where you had to make the sentence one card at a time. This was a really good playful way to try and play with words talking about what makes sense and what is a silly sentence.
Pro’s- Great different games to play, Easy to use, clear instructions
Con’s- A suggestion would be to have them in different designs for children to make them more inviting for children.
